Chat & Communication
1
Spam & Advertisements
Do not spam messages, repeat the same content within a short period, or advertise external servers, Discords, or personal projects. Repeated promotion of locations or services in-game also falls under this rule.

No Filter Bypass or Vulgar Language
Bypassing the chat filter to say blacklisted words — including slurs, vulgar language, or inappropriate references — is strictly prohibited.

English Only in Public Chat
Please keep all public chat in English so staff can moderate effectively. Other languages are welcome in private messages.

No Unofficial Links
Only share links from well-known, trusted websites. Sharing unknown or suspicious links is not allowed to protect the safety of our community.

No Competitor Mentions
Do not advertise or mention competing Minecraft servers. We are building something here — keep the focus on 3 SMP.

No Hot Topic Discussions
Political, religious, or controversial social discussions are not allowed. 3 SMP is for everyone — keep it that way.

No NSFW or Inappropriate Content
No NSFW, 18+ topics, nudity, sexual behavior, heavy profanity, or suggestive conversations of any kind. This applies to chat, builds, skins, and usernames.
Player Conduct

No Harassment
Targeting, belittling, or repeatedly bothering another player in any form is not allowed. Use /ignore if you have an issue with someone — do not bring it to public chat.

No Disrespect
Treat every player and staff member with basic respect. Being rude, condescending, or deliberately difficult will not be tolerated.

No Drama or Trolling
Do not deliberately stir up conflict, post misleading information, or provoke other players. If you have a genuine concern take it to the suggestion channel or create a ticket.

No Rioting
Flooding chat with repeated disruptive statements targeting a player, staff member, or the server itself is not allowed. Disagreements go through proper channels — not public chat.

No Threats
Do not threaten or wish harm on any player, staff member, or the server. This includes threats disguised as jokes. Serious threats will result in an immediate permanent ban.

No Discrimination or Racism
Discriminatory language or behavior targeting any person based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality, or any other identity factor is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate ban.

No Impersonation
Do not impersonate staff, other players, or the server itself through your username, nickname, skin, or messages. Claiming staff authority you do not have is treated as a serious offence.
Gameplay

No Obstruction of Staff Investigations
Do not hide, delete, or withhold evidence during a staff investigation. Cooperation is expected from all players — obstructing staff will be treated as an admission of guilt.

No IRL Trading
Selling or buying in-game items, ranks, or currency for real-life money outside of the official 3 SMP store is strictly prohibited. Offering or requesting IRL trades will result in a permanent ban. Players may request store items that have already been purchased.

No Cheating or Exploiting
Hacked clients, macros, exploits, or any unfair modifications are not allowed. Allowed mods: OptiFine, Sodium, minimaps, Replay Mod, and Litematica for overlay use only — printer and auto-place modes are not permitted. If you find a bug or exploit, report it — do not abuse it.

No Griefing
Destroying, stealing from, or tampering with another player's builds or claimed land is a bannable offense. This does not include unclaimed builds in the wild.

No Scamming
Deceiving another player out of items, currency, or ranks is a bannable offence. Use /trade for every exchange — trades made outside it are not protected and staff cannot recover your losses.

No Lag Machines
Do not build redstone, entity, or item setups intended to crash or slow the server. Excessively laggy farms may be removed by staff without warning, and deliberate lag machines are a permanent ban.
Accounts

No Ban Evasion or Alt Abuse
Do not use alternate accounts to evade a punishment, farm rewards, vote multiple times, or gain any unfair advantage. Evading a ban extends it permanently and applies to every account you own.

Account Security
You are responsible for everything done on your account. Sharing your account is at your own risk — punishments are not reversed because someone else was playing.
Rule 18 — Chargebacks: Immediate Permanent Ban
Initiating a chargeback on any store purchase will result in an immediate permanent ban with no appeal. All sales are final. By purchasing from the 3 SMP store you acknowledge and accept this policy.
